Clinical Nutrition

"Diet" comes from the root word diaita meaning "way of living". We strive to focus on the root of that word. With clear, supportive and compassionate guidance, we will share our knowledge and passion for eating and living well, supporting a positive way of living. Proper nutrition is the cornerstone to health. As such, it can be used to treat various health concerns.

Nutritional Supplements & B12 Injections

Although we strive to get a good variety of nutrients from food, sometimes it is necessary to use supplements to achieve more therapeutic dosages. An individualized approach is taken to determine which, if any, nutritional supplements are right for you.

Lifestyle Counseling

Wellness is more than just physical health - how a person feels mentally and emotionally are also crucial parts to overall health and wellbeing. Chronic stress can contribute to disease. This is why we work together with patients to help them recognize the effects of stress on their health, implement stress management tools, empower them to take a stand for their wellbeing and find balance in their life.

Botanical Medicine

A long-standing approach using medicinal herbs, plants or plant extracts in various forms (tinctures, teas, and capsules). Naturopathic doctors are trained to combine the scientific understanding and traditional use of botanicals in the treatment of various health concerns such as stress/fatigue, hormonal imbalances, thyroid conditions, poor immunity, and digestive health concerns.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture has been around for thousands of years. It is the use of very thin needles in specifically chosen points based on your health concerns. It is helpful in treating stress/anxiety, hormonal imbalances, headaches, muscle and joint pain, etc.

Bioidentical Hormones

Bioidentical hormones have the same molecular structure as the ones naturally produced by the body. In-depth testing is required to determine if bioidentical hormone replacement therapy is indicated and, if so, which hormones and what dose is appropriate for each individual patient. Currently, Naturopathic Doctors with a prescribing license are able to prescribe progesterone, estrogen and thyroid hormone.
